Telenor: Persona Postpaid revised plans

Yet again Telenor has changed its Persona package plans. Yes, Telenor has been trying hard to increase its postpaid customer base in the past year or so. We have been seeing changes in its packages quite occasionally. When they changed their Persona packages the last time , we saw them offering add-ons to customers to chose from based on their needs. It created some relief in the form of advance security that you have to pay when you buy a Persona connection.

This time Telenor has separated the two segments . Consumer segment has three plans namely Persona 100, Persona 500 and Persona Free.

Additional voice , data and sms bundles are also being offered . Seems like Telenor is trying hard to increase its postpaid customer base. The Persona 100 price plan seems a good offer to convert prepaid customers to postpaid. Yet you must also the know the minimum security deposit required for each package plan.

Well, we think its high time for all telecom operators to lower security deposits , One of the first things people think about before getting a postpaid connection is what amount of security they have to pay and if its high they would rather stick to prepaid. This is not for the business oriented users but if you really want to grow your customer base and want a common man to become a postpaid customer you've got to get that security deposit down.
The Persona karobar Package has been simplified , pretty much!
Its good to see simple package plans , the more simpler it gets the better it is.
One thing which we don't understand is why Telenor has chosen Yellow color for the Persona brand ? Is it because they want to say its for the masses or is it a mistake? Your guess?
