BlackBerry Pearl is an old mobile phone of BlackBerry which started shipping way back in 2006. This phone comes with a below average 1.3 MP camera, average audio quality and has just 64 MB internal memory.
8100 Pearl has long been discontinued.
Pearl 8120 the successor to 8100 was announced and delivered in market in 2007. It has half QWERTY keyboard, 2MP camera, WiFi, most importantly document editor, and 32MB RAM. Display size is 2.2 inch (240x260 pixels).

  • 200 minutes / month
  • Zero line rent
  • Unlimited BlackBerry Internet Services
  • Unlimited GPRS / Internet Services

In our opinion both mobile phones whether its STORM 9500 or PEARL 8120 have their own various problems . STORM 9500 lacks user friendliness and has no WiFi. It would not be wrong to say that this phone was a flop in the market and is still considered a burden for its price.

BlackBerry Pearl 8100 is badly outdated and by no means is worth 20,000 Rupees even with free services for a year. Pearl 8120 is better and a year of free BIS services coupled with some free minutes is a better option. Final choice is yours.!!!
