Nokia cancels X7 launch in US , desperate to revive its brand in US

Nokia which is seen working hard to gain more market share in the US market has cancelled its smartphone launch X7 with US cellular operator AT&T following Nokia's opinion that AT&T would not provide much support for marketing and subsidies.

Nokia continues to face hurdles in expanding its smartphone offerings in the US while android smartphones and Apple's iPad provide serious challenge to Nokia's smartphones who has not been able to increase it's market share in the US for smartphones.

Nokia has hopes that its new OS "Meego" would play a role in turning the tables in its favor. But for time being it  is evident that Nokia is losing ground in the US market.
