According to release by a tech research company IDC , ZTE the Chinese low cost mobile seller has gained number four position knocking out Apple to fifth place.
According to the release Nokia remains the leader in worldwide mobile sales with 123.7 million mobiles last year although it represents a decline of 2.7%
Samsung sold 80.7 million units and was on the second spot with 20.1% of global market share.
LG stood at number three spot with 30.6 million units followed by ZTE corp. which sold 16.8 million units knocking down Apple to number five position. Apple managed to sell 16.2 million units worldwide.
Korea was identified as the leading market for smart phone consumption in Asia.
