After Saudia Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Indonesia , India has now asked its telecom operators either to provide interception power to the national security agencies or stop providing these services to customers.Blackberry's vice president (industry , government and university relations) on a recent trip to India stated :
"There is no possibility of us providing any kind of a solution. There is no solution, there are no keys to be handed... It's not possible to do so because the keys of the service are in possession of the corporate enterprises".
This is becoming more and more serious problem for BlackBerry. If they cannot do this they may face similar situation in other countries as well.If countries continue to discontinue BIS services , BlackBerry would lose its appeal in these countries. One of the major attraction of Blackberry is its BIS services. Since BIS services won't continue their would be no point of buying a Blackberry Smartphone.
