2011 has undoubtedly been the year of tablets. We saw tablets all around in CES 2011 and similar story can be said for the MWC 2011. Lets have a look at these beautiful gadgets.
Hewlett Packard show cased its tablet called the Touch Pad.This is the first tablet by HP and has shown very good performance so far. Unlike others, HP's tablet runs web OS. The tablet is the first to run web Os meaning you can access your data or information , your complete OS from anywhere any time from any other tablet. It has a 9.7 inch screen and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor.
It is the first tablet from HTC . Flyer has a 7 inch display in an aluminum body, with 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP camera with HD video recording capability,Android 2.4 and a fantastic stylus.Although it has a lot to offer , it also has a bit high price tag, it would cost about $700.!

A100 is the smaller variant having a 7 inch display, it runs android 3.0 Honeycomb which is by its very own nature for the tablets. It has 2MP front and 5MP rear camera, HDMI and USB port.
A500 has a larger 10.1 inch display. Also runs android 3.0 Honeycomb. Both tablets offer rich HD experience. They also offer 3D experience for gaming.

HTC FLYER
ACER ICONIA TAB
Acer introduced two tablets in the MWC . the ICONIA A100 and A500.

LG OPTIMUS PAD
LG showcased Optimus Pad. It has a 8.9 inch screen and runs the latest android 3.0 Honeycomb. Its unique feature are its two 5MP stereoscopic camera which are capable of recording in 3D.LG seems to be banking strong on 3D for its tablet and smartphone both having 3D capability.It is Powered by Tegra 2 processor. LG Optimus Pad will be available in the market for an expected retail price of around $800.
MOTOROLA XOOM
Perhaps, one of the most roaring competitor for the iPad , CES 2011 award winner in the tablet category , Motorola Xoom is powered by 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, 10. inches display, offers 32GB storage and microSD card expansion. Motorola Xoom .It has higher display resolution then the iPad and offers flash support.It is being expected at a price of around $800.
SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 10.1
The next version of the popular Galaxy Tab is here. It's called the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Why 10.1? Well its display is 10.1 inches. Besides having HD capabilities it's got 8MP rear and 2MP front facing camera and dual surround speakers. Performs faster then most others thanks to 1GHz Dual core processor and Android Honeycomb 3.0.Other things include HSPA+ support, WiFi, A-GPS and ability to play flash media.
HUAWEI S7 SLIM
With a 7 inch display , the popular Chinese giant Huawei, has recently unveiled Huawei S7 Slim. The tablet runs android OS 2.1, 768 Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Compared to other tablets it has a slower processor and weights heavier. S7 comes with a stylus which you will only find in upcoming HTC Flyer. Another downturn of Huawei S7 is its low memory just 256MB. Its expandable through microSD slot but still it should have been at least 4 to 8 GB. Flash media is also not supported. Off course one can expected a lower price tag too.Price just $300.
ZTE V9+
Another Chinese giant is ZTE which has unveiled its own tablet named V9+. It has a 7 inch display , 5MP rear camera, 1GHz processor. It runs on android 2.2 FroYo. The tablet could a good choice for a tight budget.
VIEW SONIC
View Sonic has four different versions of tablets. Each tablet has different display size. The biggest of them all is View pad 10Pro which has a 10 inch screen, and is capable of booting both Windows 7 and Android 2.2 FroYo.It is powered by 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, 512MB RAM and 32GB storage. Its a good buy for its price isn't it?.Price tag $380.
BLACKBERRY PLAYBOOK
Finally we have Blackberry Playbook which runs BlackBerry OS but another version of Blackberry Playbook will be running Android too. Now thats something new. The 7 inch display is sharp and rich with colors. The Playbook has 3MP back and 5MP front camera, 1GHz dual core processor, supports flash media and HDMI port and 1GB RAM.
The list is not complete. We have many other manufacturers with their own offerings. We can only hope that there is enough demand for tablets as it seems like every manufacturer wants a piece of the pie.
